We have a secret. Besides having the largest rooms in the area, California’s Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel also has one of the best viewing spots for Disneyland® Resort’s spectacular nightly fireworks show outside of the park. Disneyland®  Park has been putting on a summer fireworks show for families since 1956.

For the full experience with music and effects, nothing beats a front row seat inside the park. Disneyland® Resort’s top list of viewing locations are in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle, Main Street, U.S.A., between Central Plaza and the Main Street Train Station, in front of “It’s A Small World,” and along the Rivers of America in Frontierland.

But, after a full day of Disneyland® Park magic, staying late and jockeying for a prime viewing spot might not be so magical for some families so Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel has front row off-campus locations. The fireworks are visible from the hotel’s parking lot and from the courtyard and pool area.

Other insider spots outside Disneyland® Park include:

  • The tram waiting area by the Mickey and Friends parking structure just up the street from the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel on Disneyland Drive or near the Downtown Disney parking area, which is free for the first three hours.
  • The Esplanade which is the plaza area between Disneyland® Resort and Disneyland® Resort California Adventure. Consider buying food at Downtown Disney for your friends and family and then settling in for an impromptu picnic in the plaza to check out the fireworks.

July 4th will be an extra special show at Disneyland® Resort with a patriotic grand finale after the Disneyland Forever show.
