Hello there, royal subjects!
Princess Corinne here! For those who don’t know me, I help protect Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel here in Anaheim and I call the castle home. I’ve been sharing some updates over on our Facebook page, but I thought it was high time I sat down and shared some updates here on the blog too. It’s been a few weeks since the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel closed due to Coronavirus and I miss you all SOOOOO much. It sure has been lonely here around the castle without all your smiling faces. But, I’ve managed to keep myself busy…
First, I’ve been doing a lot of reading! One of my favorite ways to pass the time is to sit by the fire and read. I’ve been enjoying a lot of wonderful books full of mystical lands, handsome princes, and magical creatures. These exciting stories and grand adventures have helped me stay positive and excited about all the exciting adventures I’ll have once I’m able to visit my favorite places, like Disneyland® Resort, and see all my friends again! I sure do miss reading stories to all the lovely guests here at Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel during our special storytimes. I can’t wait to share my favorite story — The Legend of the Lair — with you all in person very soon!
Since Disneyland® Resort is closed right now, I haven’t been able to go see all my other princess friends, like Jasmine, Rapunzel, Ariel, and Belle. Thankfully I’ve been able to keep in touch via letters! Isn’t it so much fun to receive mail from our friends? Many kind princesses and princes have shared drawings, words of encouragement, and their favorite memories of the castle with me. The notes have been such a joy to read! I’d love the opportunity to say hello and send well wishes to all of you. When I need some fresh air, I’ve been spending time outside soaking up the beautiful California sunshine. Even at the castle, there’s so much to do! Yesterday I spent the entire afternoon practicing with my sword in our beautiful gardens — you never know when you may need to perform a daring rescue, after all. After that, I said hello to my friends at our magical koi pond, went for a dip in our outdoor pool, and made a wish at our majestic fountain. My wish is that everyone stays safe and healthy! After a long day outside, I fell fast asleep in one of our luxurious castle suites. It was a perfectly perfect day! Of course, all that would be much more exciting if you were here to enjoy the fun with me!
Next up, I plan to put on some gloves and a mask help clean the castle from top to bottom! That way, everything will be extra clean and safe when you’re able to come to visit me once again. After all, a princess has to do her part.
