Day 1: Disneyland® Park – Classic with a Twist
7:00 AM – Power Breakfast + Early Park Entry
Start with breakfast at Garden Court Bistro right inside the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel. You have to check out the breakfast buffet, it’s the best way to fuel your day! Hop on the free Dream Machine shuttle; no parking stress here.
If you have Early Entry, start at Fantasyland and rope drop Peter Pan’s Flight® (which always gets slammed later). No Early Entry? Head straight to Adventureland® and grab an early ride on Indiana Jones™ Adventure—the line gets long fast.
10:00 AM – Explore Hidden Corners
Skip the crowd-heavy paths. Instead, take the shaded shortcut through Adventureland Bazaar and swing by The Tropical Hideaway, one of the few places that still feels off-the-radar. Try the Trio of Baos and vote on your favorite!
12:30 PM – Table-Service Without a Wait
Instead of jostling for a spot at Blue Bayou (though it is totally worth the wait!), head to Cafe Orleans for their underrated (and usually more available) lunch. The Battered & Fried Monte Cristo Sandwich is out of this world, but the Smoked Tomato Risotto and Melon Arugula Salad are low-key plant-based stars.
3:00 PM – Castle Courtyard Chill
Escape the afternoon crowds in Royal Theatre’s shaded benches (near Fantasy Faire). Even if you don’t catch the live show, it’s one of the best relaxation zones in the park.
6:00 PM – Maximize Disney Genie+ (Smartly)

9:30 AM – Chill at Pixar Pier
Instead of chasing rides, enjoy the vibe: grab a coffee at Cappuccino Cart and people-watch from a bench under the Pixar Pal-A-Round. Don’t miss out on the Banoffee Pie Cold Brew. The Butterscotch Cold Brew is incredible, but the Banana Cold Foam really takes it to another level!
11:00 AM – Foodie Time
Locals swear by Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, which serves fresh, fast food and is rarely crowded. Snag a seat in the shaded Pacific Wharf area to get to the tough job of choosing between all the great options. The San Fransokyo-style Street Corn is one of the best bites you’ll have!
1:00 PM – Afternoon Retreat
Take the secret route behind Grizzly River Run, a quiet pathway that loops behind the ride and offers shade, waterfalls, and rarely-seen rock carvings.
Bonus: This is the best place to actually cool off. The misters are legit.
3:00 PM – Golden Hour at Avengers Campus
Do you have a Disney Visa Card? Don’t miss the Disney® Visa® Cardmember Heroic Encounter, where you can mingle with the likes of Spider-Man and Black Panther. Not a Cardmember? Snag a Pingo Doce soda from Pym Test Kitchen, a deep cut Marvel fans love.
