Book Early: Disneyland® Park can get crowded, especially during peak seasons. Book your tickets and your official Good Neighbor Hotel well in advance to secure your preferred dates and accommodations.
Choose the Right Ticket: Decide between a single-park or park-hopper ticket. A park-hopper allows you to visit both Disneyland® Resort and Disney’s California Adventure® Park on the same day.
Bring Your Walking Shoes: Come to Disneyland® Resort prepared with good walking shoes, sunblock and water bottles for the whole family to be refilled throughout the day. Be sure to dress in layers or bring extra clothes for the brisk California mornings and evenings. You can bring a small backpack as long as it’s not cumbersome to carry and take on rides, or rent a locker at the entrance for the day.
Download and Use the Disneyland® App: The official Disneyland® app is a must-have. It provides real-time wait times, show schedules, dining reservations, mobile ordering, and more. Before you leave for the park, make sure you have the latest version, and turn on your notifications and location services! The mobile ordering features are a great way to avoid long lines with hungry kiddos!
Get Breakfast at the Hotel. There are so many great dining options at Disneyland® Resort. However, if you’re looking to save a little time and money, grab a quick breakfast bite at Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel’s California Deli or Garden Court Bistro before you leave the hotel. Pack snacks to bring for the whole family as well, so you can keep your energy up and your dining expenses down.
Know Your Options: If you’re willing to be separated from your group, single rider lines can significantly reduce wait times for popular attractions. Or, if you have young children who can’t ride certain attractions, use the rider switch program to allow one adult to ride while the other stays with the child!
